Everything the light touches…is Disney’s kingdom; and that means we’ll be getting live-action remakes of classic Disney favorites until they run out of movies to remake. This week marks the official release of Jon Favreau’s The Lion King. Seeing as how that movie was such a big part of J and Q’s lives, this week’s episode is dedicated to our thoughts about the upcoming film and the definitive list of the Top 5 Best Disney Live-Action Remakes!
In order to get good perspective, Q and J go back through history to discuss all the Disney remakes we’ve gotten so far, even going back to 1993’s The Jungle Book starring Sam Neill! We know some of you out there liked, Maleficent, and we try to figure out why while fondly remembering 101 Dalmatians with Glenn Close and doing everything we can to forget Tim Burton’s Dumbo.
