We’ve been waiting for what seems like forever, but the TrailerTown for Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi is finally here!! Sorry it took us a bit to get it up on the site, but we had to watch it 40,000 times and that distracted us a bit. This is the perfect kind of teaser trailer because it shows us everything we wanted to see, yet nothing at the same time.

Without further adieu, please enjoy the Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi and then read our Top 5 things about it below:

Top 5 Things About the Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi Trailer

  1. It’s Star Wars – Let’s cut the shit, the resurgence of the Star Wars franchise has been epic. From The Force Awakens to Rogue One, we’re in a new era of Star Wars being a force to be reckoned with. This TrailerTown is no different.
  2. The Feels – We had goosebumps from beginning to end each time we watched it. The score settles you into nostalgia, while the clips introduce you to where our characters are since Rey disappeared at the end of The Force Awakens. This continues the return to form for the world’s favorite franchise.
  3. Leia – It’s only a quick shot of the back of her head, but we nearly teared up witnessing the beginning of Carrie Fisher’s last portrayal of our favorite Disney Princess.
  4. Jedi Training – All great masters need a great teacher, and it looks like Rey is getting the full treatment. From her hillside, Karate Kid-esque light saber training, to her time in the island cave stand-in for Dagobah’s Magic Tree (the gnarltree, for true fans), everything looks perfect. Our only question is if she’ll abandon her training early, like Luke did, to assist her friends in what looks like some epic battles.
  5. The Battle Scenes – Oh our God, the battle scenes in this movie look incredible! From the desert planes spewing red smoke, the Millennium Falcon taking down baddies, to the space dogfights, it all just looks perfect.

Holy shit, the wait was definitely worth it and now we’ve begun counting down the days until December when we get to witness what appears to be a Rian Johnson masterpiece. Only 245 more days to go!!
