When an original (non-remake/reboot, non-sequel) movie comes out of the woodworks lately, we find ourselves getting excited early on. When that movie looks great, it heightens our passions even higher. The new TrailerTown for The Book of Henry gives us those warm fuzzies, and we know you’ll get them too.

Coming out on June 16 and starring Naomi Watts, Dean Norris, Jacob Tremblay, Lee Pace and Sarah Silverman, this story of a wise-beyond-his-years 11-year-old who has to save a friend gave us the willies.

Top 5 Things About The Book of Henry Trailer

  1. The Cast – It looks like everyone is at the top of their game in this movie. It helps that they are all great actors, but people can still phone it in (looking at you, Ghost in the Shell!).
  2. Rube Goldbergs! – We LOVE a good Rube Goldberg, especially one made by genius kids. This trailer shows that Henry might have a successful career as a production designer for Ok Go if his assassination plot doesn’t pan out.
  3. The Story – We’ve already mentioned that we’re gluttons for original stories and this trailer goes somewhere we completely didn’t expect. Well played, Gregg Hurwitz.
  4. Colin Trevorrow – This guy in on a roll lately. Between Safety Not Guaranteed, Jurassic World, getting pegged to direct Star Wars: Episode IX, it’s like he can do no wrong. This looks to continue his streak.
  5. That Fort – Seeing Henry’s epic fort in the woods, we immediately became jealous of him. Who doesn’t want a fort that awesome? We can imagine he’d make a fortune renting it out on Airbnb, but he’s probably already thought of that.

So, what did you think of The Book of Henry TrailerTown? Will you be setting up a scheme to go see it in June?
